Mersea Island Cookery School


Join the talented Mike Keen and learn how to prepare and cook fish. He will take you through the different stages of preparing and cooking a delicious 4 course lunch and let you into tricks of the trade.

Based on what is seasonally available, we’ll have two types of fish for you to fillet and cook, plus some seafood.

The course involves demonstrations, instructions, guidance and hands-on experience.

We will conclude the course with a sit down meal, enjoying the dishes we’ve made.
